GiveMePower Technology Allows Trident Environmental Services to Meet New Senate-Proposed "Ban Asbestos in America Act of 2007"

PowerCAD SiteMaster Increases Speed and Accuracy of OSHA and EPA Compliant Building and Inspection Surveys for Asbestos

SUMMERVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA and CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - April 12, 2007) - With just the point of a laser, GiveMePower Corporation (OTCBB:GMPW) customers like Trident Environmental Services Inc. are measuring, verifying and producing laser-precise Asbestos NESHAP (National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants) building survey and inspection drawings faster and easier using PowerCAD® SiteMaster™.

With renewed vigor on asbestos-related issues including Senator Patty Murray's introduction of the Ban Asbestos in America Act of 2007, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health's (NIOSH) newly drafted document, Asbestos and Other Mineral Fibers: A Roadmap for Scientific Research, and the US Senate's passage of National Asbestos Awareness Week, Trident Environmental Services has seen an explosion of client inquiries on asbestos abatement and management.

"As environmental risks and health-related issues associated with asbestos become more known, we expect the rate of regulatory activity to grow," said Kevin Leedy, vice president of Trident Environmental Services. "And so will the amount of work that needs to be done to help remedy the situation."

According to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates, there are asbestos-containing materials in most of the nation's approximately 107,000 primary and secondary schools, and 733,000 public and commercial buildings. About 500,000 of those buildings are believed to contain at least some damaged asbestos. Approximately 5.7 million cubic feet of regulated asbestos-containing materials is disposed of in the US annually.

Already, the EPA and Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) require employers and building owners to protect their employees and tenants from exposure to airborne asbestos fibers in the workplace. The Asbestos NESHAP section of the EPA's Clean Air Act, specifies certain work practices be followed during renovations and demolitions of all structures, installations and facilities which contain a threshold amount of regulated asbestos-containing materials.

Prior to renovation or demolition, building owners must submit an Asbestos NESHAP building survey performed by a Certified Industrial Hygienist like those at Trident Environmental Services. The building survey must document the presence, exact location and quantity of all suspect asbestos-containing materials.

"We started performing Asbestos NESHAP building surveys using a basic drawing program, but the drawings were never to scale and required a lot of rework to make them accurate," claimed Leedy. "By switching to PowerCAD SiteMaster, not only are we faster, but we are far more accurate. This is vital, particularly when working with specified threshold amounts and the sizeable costs involved with removing asbestos. The implications for our clients on being out even small amounts of square footage can be severe."

Leedy concludes, "Given the amount of work to be done on asbestos abatement and management, firms like ours require tools like SiteMaster to reach full capacity in order to meet this growing demand."

PowerCAD SiteMaster has dramatically enhanced field-to-finish production of AutoCAD®-compatible "as-built" floor plans, detailed building assessment and inspection drawings, and Excel®-compatible area and asset reports on projects for McDonald's, Cartier, Deutsche Telecom, MACTEC and the US Navy.
