Given Imaging Announces Webcast of Business Update on May 24

YOQNEAM, ISRAEL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 16, 2007 -- Given Imaging Ltd. (NASDAQ: GIVN), the global leader in capsule endoscopy, announced today that it will host a Business Update for members of the financial community on Thursday, May 24 at 12:00pm ET in New York City.

Management will discuss business strategy and provide an update on the company's PillCam platform of products; PillCam® SB, PillCam® ESO and PillCam® COLON. Participants from Given Imaging will include Homi Shamir - President and CEO, Yuval Yanai - Chief Financial Officer, Mark Gilreath - Chief Marketing Officer, Kevin Rubey - Chief Operations Officer, Manfred Gehrtz - President EMEA, Chris Rowland - President, Americas, and Ori Braun - Senior Vice President, Business Development.

The Business Update will also include a panel discussion among three leading gastroenterologists on applications for capsule endoscopy in clinical practice as well as a review of data presented at Digestive Disease Week, taking place earlier in the week.
