Glen Eagle Intersects Li2O Values Over 37 Meters in two Drill Holes

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Jan. 11, 2011) -Glen Eagle Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GER) ("Glen Eagle" or the "Company") is pleased to announce additional results from its drilling program on the Authier Lithium project near Val d'Or, Quebec.

Holes Al-10-13 and Al-10-14 were drilled in the east central section of the deposit and intersected significant spodumene-bearing pegmatite. These holes confirmed that the grades and widths in the east central section of the deposit are still very strong, but unlikely to continue based on historical data showing that the deposit is pinching out to the east.

The Company is waiting for data compilation of the results of the last 2 remaining drill holes which will be released next week and targeted to test the limits of the deposit to the east.

Holes Al-10-07, Al-10-08, Al-10-09 and Al-10-10 in particular returned results confirming what was expected. These holes were drilled as in-fill holes in a lower grade section in the center of the deposit.

About the method of analysis:

The samples were prepared at the company's facility under the supervision of the field geologist by sawing the NQ core in two halves. One half of the core was bagged, tagged and sealed and delivered to ALS Canada in Val d'Or. The other half is kept for record. The samples were analyzed for Lithium using the Li-OG63 method which consists of a specialized four acid digestion with an assay range of 0.01 to 10% Li. For Rare Metals and Rare Earth elements, the samples were analyzed with the ME-MS81 analytical method which consists of a lithium borate fusion prior to acid dissolution followed by ICP-MS analysis. The company has also implemented a QC/QA program for quality control. The company is using two analytical standards, a high and a low standard, duplicates and blanks. One standard and one blank sample are inserted for every 20 samples and a duplicate for every 20 samples will be sent to another laboratory for analysis.

Gilles Laverdière, P.Geo., a qualified person according to the NI 43-101 disclosing standards, is supervising the drilling program and has reviewed and approved the technical content presented herein.
