Glen Eagle Resources Inc.: Several Large Phosphate Showings Discovered at Lac Lisette

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Aug. 22, 2011) - Glen Eagle Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GER) ("Glen Eagle" or the "Company") announces that due to better than expected findings on the Lac Lisette property, the Company has opted to allocate more time to the channelling and stripping program. The number and size of the showings found on surface at multiple locations, warrant additional field work for further evaluation. In particular, several showings are in excess of 50 meters wide on surface and appear open in all directions. The mineralization could well extend several hundred meters deep within the geological context of a layered intrusive complex. The showings were located along the strike of the 6,000 meter magnetic anomaly discovered by the airborne survey earlier this year.

The samples from the 200 meter channelling program are currently being assayed by AGAT Laboratories and will be released shortly as they become available. Additional samples will be sent to the lab with the results expected by mid September.

It is imperative for the Company at this stage to complete all the necessary field work to maximized the probability of identifying the best possible drilling targets.

The Company expects to have completed the field work by the third week of September which should coincide with the beginning of the drilling program.
