Global Capacity Hires Craig Magerkurth as Chief Technology Officer

Magerkurth joins Global Capacity directly from the Rise Group, where as Vice President of Technology Programs, he had oversight of network and video surveillance programs such as Operation Virtual Shield, a Homeland Defense initiative in Chicago.

Craig brings over 18 years of experience in developing, building and managing complex technology based solutions for multiple industries. His specific expertise in telecommunications pricing systems, network optimization tools, geo-spatial analysis and data analytics ensure the on-going success of One Marketplace Access Exchange. Previously, Craig served as Chief Information Officer at Universal Access, where he managed the initial build out of the Universal Transport Exchanges (UTX), and was instrumental in the development and deployment of the Universal Information Exchange (UIX) and Universal Solutions Exchange (USX). Through merger, these solutions ultimately became key components of what today is Global Capacity's One Marketplace Access Exchange.
