Global Development & Environmental Resources and LandAmerica Agree to Services Contract

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 8, 2005 -- Global Development & Environmental Resources, Inc. (OTC: GDVE) announced today that the Company has accepted a multi-million dollar, ongoing environmental engineering services agreement with LandAmerica for LandAmerica's U.S. Based and International properties.

Currently, Global Development & Environmental Resources' Professional Service Division is performing investigation services for LandAmerica in the U.S. on properties located in Florida, California and New Mexico. At the time of this announcement, international properties included locations in Mexico. Additional locations, both domestic and international are expected to be added to the terms of the agreement in the near future.

LandAmerica is a publicly held company involved with the completion of real estate development projects and the protection of real estate investments by providing title insurance for numerous types of commercial and industrial properties.
