Global Ecology Corporation Announces Initial Sales of Mobile PureWater System

Shipments Begin This Week to South Africa

MONTCLAIR, NJ--(Marketwire - January 5, 2011) - Global Ecology Corporation (PINKSHEETS: GLEC) (OTCQB: GLEC) announced today the sale of its initial Mobile PureWater Systems (MPWS) to its South African joint venture, GEC Africa. The initial order is for three units. The first unit will be shipped this week.

The sale of these units marks the opening to South Africa and other countries throughout Africa. The principals of GEC Africa, Wiseman Nyembe and Rupert Gebers, are directing the development of the vast African market for the Mobile PureWater Systems.

Mr. Nyembe said, "I have an acute understanding of the critical issues associated with the lack of clean drinking water and related environmental problems. We are bringing to Africa the GEC technologies that can immediately address many of these concerns. I am proud that our investment will dramatically change the quality of life for the citizens of Africa."

"GEC Africa can deploy MPWS units either by road or air for any type of emergency in any given terrain and provide safe drinking water for the people. This will help eliminate water borne diseases such as cholera outbreak and therefore save lives," added Mr. Gebers.
