Global Footwear Marketer Weyco Group Deploys ACS Optima ERP in Australia

The Designer and Distributor of the Florsheim, Nunn Bush, and Stacy Adams Footwear Brands Is Extending the Use of ACS Optima Business Software to Its Fast-Growing Australian Operation; In Addition to Upgrading Existing Systems, the Common Global IT Platform Will Enable the Company to Streamline Business Processes, Enhance Collaboration and Reporting, and Provide Global User Support

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 7, 2011) -  Computer Generated Solutions Inc. (CGS) announces that Weyco Group, (http://www.weycogroup.com), owner of popular men's dress, fashion, and casual shoe brands Florsheim, Nunn Bush, and Stacy Adams, is extending use of the ACS Optima ERP solution to its fast-growing Florsheim Australian operation. The retail, wholesale, and internet marketer has used the IBM® iSeries®-based ACS system throughout its Milwaukee, Wisconsin (US) headquarters and subsidiary operations for nearly two decades. Expected to go-live within the first half of 2011, the new deployment in Melbourne, Victoria (AU) will enable the company to leverage the benefits of a common IT platform.

"Standardizing on a single platform will allow us to leverage synergies between U.S. and Australia from a systems stand point," stated George Sotiros, Weyco Vice President of Information Systems. "This will not only help us update and upgrade current systems in Australia, it will enable us to streamline business processes and reporting. As a longtime customer of CGS, we are confident in their stability as a partner and their proven ability to support our operations. We have benefited greatly from their expertise in the footwear industry."

Weyco Group is well positioned to ensure the success of the Australian implementation and day-to-day operation of the system thanks to an existing U.S.-based helpdesk that supports the current ACS installed base. The common platform will also streamline any potential migration to other CGS software products.

"We are honored with the continued support and trust of Weyco Group," added Paul Magel, President of the CGS Application Solutions Group. "Our relationship represents a perfect example of how companies can move beyond a buyer-seller relationship to forge a true value-added partnership. We look forward to a rapid and highly rewarding implementation for the Australian unit."
