Global Innovative's Eco-Pro™ Energy Saver for Streetlight Illumination Completes Successful Testing in Singapore

HONG KONG -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 17, 2005 -- Global Innovative Systems Inc. (OTC BB: GBSY) announced today that its proprietary branded Eco-Pro™ Energy Saver for Streetlight Illumination has completed a successful testing program in Singapore.

The pilot test program consisted of a month-long field trial conducted in Singapore by SMM Pte. Ltd. ("SMM"). The purpose of the test was to verify the performance of an Eco-Pro™ Energy Saver for Streetlight Illumination unit installed by Global Innovative's wholly owned subsidiary Tech Team Development Limited ("TTDL").

Testing was conducted on a 2-way single-lane road approximately 400 meters in length with 12 streetlamp posts spaced approximately 25 meters apart. Performance was verified in terms of variance of Power Consumption (W) and Road Lighting Level (lux) from established baseline levels.

Key results of the month-long test include:

* a consistent 27.5% reduction in overall Power Consumption (W)

* average illumination of 20 lux (well above the minimum specified average of 12 lux)

* potential prolongation of lifespan of lamps due to reduction in the current drawn and heat produced

"The Eco-Pro™ Energy Saver for Streetlight Illumination reduces energy consumption in streetlamps by optimizing the consumption when road usage is relatively low," said Raymond Ho, Engineering Manager of TTDL. "This is achieved by adjusting the outgoing power to the streetlamps at programmed times, while maintaining required minimum luminosity levels."

"We are very pleased with the results of this pilot test in Singapore," said Bondy Tan, President and CEO of Global Innovative. "Based on the successful results, we have entered into discussions with the Government of Singapore for the potential installation of Eco-Pro™ Energy Saver for Streetlight Illumination units to streets within Singapore."

In November 2004, TTDL signed a 1-year non-exclusive Collaboration Agreement with SMM to undertake joint efforts to penetrate the energy management markets of Singapore and nine other Southeast Asian nations.

SMM Pte. Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary and the local business unit of JTC Corporation.
