Global IP Solutions (GIPS) Integrates ESPRE Solutions' LSVX CODEC and Ships First Customer Evaluations

PLANO, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 28, 2007 -- ESPRE Solutions, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: EPRT), a Dallas-based media solutions and technology company with a revolutionary and patented video compression technology, today announced that Global IP Solutions (GIPS), a multimedia technology company delivering real-time communications solutions based in San Francisco and licensor of ESPRE's best-of-breed LSVX Video CODEC, has successfully shipped customer initiatives including ESPRE's CODEC for its video solution.

GIPS has completed the integration of ESPRE's LSVX CODEC into GIPS' VoiceEngine Multimedia as well as written a specific RTP profile in order to enable the highest-quality real-time communications possible. On January 30, 2007, ESPRE announced a right-to-use license agreement whereby GIPS received a license to ESPRE's LSVX CODEC for real-time communications. Initial market and customer response has been incredibly positive, with the first customer evaluations shipped on Friday, February 23, 2007.

"We are very pleased with our licensing agreement of ESPRE's LSVX and the performance of the technology we have been able to garner. GIPS' VoiceEngine Multimedia has become the de facto standard for high-quality voice and video real-time communications, and we are excited about raising the bar even further," said Gary Hermansen, President and CEO of Global IP Solutions (GIPS).

Pete Ianace, ESPRE Solutions' President and CEO, states, "According to GIPS management, they conducted an extensive market evaluation in search of the best performing video CODEC on the market and we knew that ESPRE's LSVX would meet the challenge. As Gary mentioned about raising the bar, we at ESPRE believe that when one of their customers deploys a business quality video chat service using our technology, it will change everyone's expectations of how web-based video should look and perform, and establish LSVX as the de facto industry standard."
