Global Relocation Company Selects MuleSource to Enhance Application Infrastructure

Graebel Deploys Mule ESB to Support New Business Growth

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - August 26, 2009) - MuleSource today announced that Graebel Companies, Inc., leaders in relocation management, moving, and commercial workplace services, has selected Mule ESB Enterprise to service-enable its back-office applications and portal data model.

By enriching its architecture model, Graebel is able to bring new customer relocation services more quickly to market and more easily scale its already robust IT infrastructure to support new business growth. Mule ESB plays a central role in integrating the Graebel application environment -- including a mix of packaged applications along with Java and Microsoft .NET services -- which requires bridging between the company's WCF .NET web services with JMS.

"After a rigorous selection process involving four competitive ESB providers, we chose Mule ESB Enterprise based on its standards compliance, reliability, and performance," said Don Tarkenton, chief information officer at Graebel. Dan Burcher, senior SOA architect, added, "Mule ESB's lightweight simplicity works perfectly with our team's Agile development methodology. In addition, our Enterprise subscription provides us with significant value, including excellent and responsive technical support, as well as production-time management console capabilities."

Graebel manages every service aspect of relocation from door-to-door. The privately-held company owns and operates third-party full-service relocation and move management companies, van line and moving and storage centers, forwarding operations including EMEA and APAC-based customer service centers, as well as a commercial workplace services division, enabling customers to deal with a single source for all global employee and workplace relocation and moving needs.

"Graebel is focused on providing comprehensive 'white glove' service to their customers," said Phil Bradley, vice president of sales, MuleSource. "We are pleased that MuleSource is enabling the company to continue raising its service levels and growing its customer base."
