Global Technologies Launches Five Hybrid Wind Turbine Development Projects: 20 Projects Now Fuel Portfolio Valuation and Income Projections

LONDON--(Marketwire - September 16, 2010) - Global Technologies, Ltd. (PINKSHEETS: GTLL) announces the launch of five (5) new Hybrid Wind Turbine Development Projects based on the Hybrid Wind Turbine Designs and Engineering from Creative Laboratory Enterprises (CLE), a private holding company primarily focused in the sustainable energy and environmental sectors.

These new product development projects are in addition to the fifteen (15) Wind Turbine Blade Design Development Projects that were launched last month and part of the recently signed Development & Distribution License.

Based on projected revenue models and asset valuation based on development cycle completions, the Company has valued the first three asset acquisition transactions at a total of $22.2 million. Each of these three transactions were acquired through the issuance of Preferred Stock that created no debt for the Company.

The projects will be detailed under Projects (PRj) on the Company's website under the headings:

  • Project - 062010 - 242/53 - Wind-Tracking Horizontal Axis Turbine
  • Project - 062010 - 54/243 - Horizontal Propel Shaft Turbine
  • Project - 062010 - 246/55 - Hybrid Horizontal-Vertical Axis Turbine
  • Project - 062010 - 56/248 - Vertical - Horizontal Hybrid Turbine
  • Project - 062010 - 57/260/261 - Levitating Axial Type/Horizontal Axis Windmill

Additionally, the Company has signed a $15,000,000 income generating Intellectual Property (IP) Development & Distribution License with the Wind Design Distribution Group (WDDG), a UK Limited Partnership, for development and distribution of the first of its proprietary Wind Turbine Blade Designs. Further updates on this and other anticipated development and distribution agreements will be announced as they progress through the development and distribution cycle.

The Company believes Small Wind-Power Generation, for residential and commercial use, is a high growth sector that promises to become a significant and vital energy option primed for strong sales growth of the company's holdings and technologies. According to a recent report from Pike Research, the global small wind market is poised for strong growth in the next few years, with revenues forecast to double from $203 million in 2009 to $412 million in 2013.

The Company anticipates further income generating Licensing arrangements to evolve from its recent acquisition of core Wind Turbine Intellectual Property (IP) Assets as part of the Joint Development Agreement with CLE and the Development and Distribution Agreement with WDDG.

These acquisitions, development and licensing progress further the Company's expansion and business strategy for 2010. Global Technologies has undertaken to aggressively acquire, develop and expand new technologies and operations as part of its enhanced business plan and strategic operational focus.
