GlobalFluency, Inc. Names Jacob Vendle Vice President of International Operations

Vendle to Oversee Partner Relations and Business Acquisition Programs for the GlobalFluency Network of 70 Member Offices in 40 Countries

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - November 29, 2007) - GlobalFluency, Inc., the integrated marketing and communications services agency, has appointed Jacob Vendle, Vice President of International Operations. The firm manages the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council and the Business Performance Management (BPM) Forum, as well as offering a full suite of Intelligent Market Engagement™ (IME) services.

A native of Sweden, Vendle brings over 12 years of international marketing, public relations and business experience in online marketing, database systems and hosted financial management solutions. He has created and implemented demand generation and branding campaigns in global markets that have achieved significant business development goals.

His duties will include selecting and integrating marketing and communications resources, developing standardized IME practices and operational frameworks, growing regional service and business development capabilities, and coordinating international client engagements throughout the international network and beyond.

Vendle has an extensive agency background in addition to holding senior marketing and communications positions with corporate clients. Campaigns included rolling out IBM's small business program in Western markets, launching a major branding initiative for Borland and re-positioning Ziff-Davis' educational portal. He also has experience in the global banking and international educational industries working for Bank of America in London with country credit issues and marketing an American university across Asia and Europe.

Vendle serves on the board of Silicon Vikings, a bi-lateral U.S.-Scandinavian technology trade group. He is the driving force behind the ambitious Nordic Green '08 project, introducing Nordic renewable energy companies to the U.S. market. Vendle studied economics at the University of Stockholm in Sweden, before moving to the U.S. to complete his undergraduate degree in marketing and earn his MBA in International Business at Hawaii Pacific University. A citizen of both the U.S.A. and the European Union, he is proficient in several European languages.
