200+ Attendees See Cloud Computing and Tablet Devices as Drivers of a "Perfect Storm" of Technology Disruption

In a survey of INNOVATE! attendees, GlobalLogic found several recurring themes that also dominated the overall tenor and dialogue at the conference:

  • 94 percent of respondents predicted that cloud computing and smartphone ubiquity would have the biggest impact on R&D roadmaps over the next 18 months
  • Nearly 75 percent of respondents indicated that the adoption of tablets and the growing impact of mobile is by far the biggest surprise over the last year
  • 36 percent of respondents identified the influence of consumer technologies on enterprise solutions as the greatest uncertainty in their company's R&D roadmap
