FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwired - Oct 8, 2015) - GlobeNet, a wholesale provider of Latin and North America data network services, announces GlobeNet International Internet Exchange (GNIIX), a service that enables customers to access content from the most relevant Internet exchanges in the world with a "local" connection through exchange points. The exchange points facilitate network interconnection through access points and eliminate the need for network providers to rely on third-party networks to exchange traffic.

The new service offers customers access to the world's largest Internet exchange points (IXPs) through a single port locally, which provides direct and reliable connectivity to Internet exchanges. GNIIX is available at GlobeNet's cable landing stations, is scalable from 1Gbps to 100 Gbps and features the lowest latency from South America over GlobeNet's dual ring, self-healing network.
