Chartwell Secures Another Top Tier Operator

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 8, 2010) - Chartwell Technology Inc. (TSX:CWH) ("Chartwell"), a leading provider of games, gaming systems and platform for the regulated online casino gaming industry is pleased to announce today that Globet International Sports Betting Limited ("Globet") is the latest client to select the Chartwell Games Platform ("CGP") to power its online casino.

Globet was founded in 1995 and is one of the oldest internet betting companies in the UK. It focuses its business activity in Central Europe and in the South of Europe. Globet is an established brand with a client base of over 500,000 customers worldwide and it offers a variety of betting services including casino and games using third party platforms. Globet is currently transitioning its gaming business from Gibraltar to the UK. It will start operations under their UK license in order to facilitate better product management and to increase marketing activities.
