Glowpoint Hires Telecommunications Sales Leader to Drive Market Share Growth

Thomas Brown Brings Distinguished Track Record to Leading Managed Video Service Provider

HILLSIDE, NJ--(Marketwire - February 18, 2010) - Glowpoint, Inc. (OTCBB: GLOW), a carrier-grade provider of managed services for telepresence and video conferencing, today announced the hire of telecommunications sales leader Thomas Brown as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Mr. Brown previously served as senior vice president of sales and marketing at FiberNet, where he established and directed a sales organization that achieved revenues of more than $70 million. FiberNet was acquired by Zayo, Inc. in September of 2009.

He also held various managerial positions at LCI International, Inc. and at AT&T. He holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
