GLR Resources Inc.: Goldfields E.I.S. Public Review Now Complete

KIRKLAND LAKE, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 21, 2008) -

GLR Resources (TSX:GRS)(FRANKFURT:GKF) is pleased to announce that it has been informed by the Saskatchewan Government - Environmental Assessment Branch - that the public review phase of the Environmental Impact Study for the Box Mine portion of its Goldfields project has now been completed.

GLR has been further informed that there were no significant questions or concerns raised by members of the public during this required review. The application for the final Environmental Permit now advances to the Saskatchewan Minister of The Environment for a final approval decision. It is anticipated that this decision will be rendered in early May.
