Glucorell Aids Native American Diabetes Sufferers

Dietary Supplement Study Supports Five Tribes

ORLANDO, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 21, 2006 -- Glucorell, a dietary supplement manufacturer specializing in natural diabetes formulas, announced today it has shipped its Insulow™ dietary supplement to Native American type II diabetes sufferers at five clinics across the United States.

"Nearly one third of all Native Americans are diagnosed with type II diabetes," said Larry Berube, president of Glucorell, Inc. "This epidemic is costing thousands of lives and affecting the quality of life of many thousands more." To help in this medical fight, and to gain valuable insight into the causes and effects of type II diabetes in Native Americans, Glucorell has enlisted the cooperation of five clinics serving Native Americans across the United States to administer and test the long-term benefits of its Insulow diabetes treatment supplement.

Benefits of Insulow

Created specifically for diabetics and those at risk of diabetes, Insulow addresses the root cause of diabetes -- insulin resistance, helping to increase insulin production and improve glucose uptake according to company officials. Similar to the familiar marriage of vitamin D and calcium, the two active ingredients in Insulow, R-lipoic acid and biotin, work in harmony, to ensure a proper balance between insulin production and glucose uptake. Insulow has no known adverse side effects and can even reduce fat gain associated with a variety of diabetes medications. "Not all lipoic acid supplements are the same," said Larry Berube, president of Glucorell. "Insulow's formula is based on more than two decades of research and more than a dozen clinical studies in Europe."

Glucorell hopes to see marked results in the test population in just 30 to 40 days. Glucorell will monitor and report on the results of the tests population over a period of many months. "Stay tuned," said Mr. Berube. "We'll publish and announce results on a periodic and ongoing basis."

Tribes Being Served

Among those tribes being served are the Houlton Maliseet Band, the Passamaquoddy Tribe of Maine, the Leech Lake Band of Chippewa, the Greenville Rancheria of Maidu and the Northwestern Band of Shoshone. In all over 350 type II diabetic patients will receive the Insulow free of charge. Participants will continue on their normal regimes of medication and diet, with results of the supplement compared to pre- and post-supplement usage. The study will continue for 90 days.

"We hope to see a clear and real benefit shortly for our subjects," said Mr. Berube. "Hopefully this will have a great impact on their quality of life."
