Go4theGoal Pediatric Cancer Foundation Holds Its 3rd Annual National Dress 4 Pediatric Cancer Day on Friday, September 27th, 2013

One Day, One Dollar, One Goal... Curing Pediatric Cancer

CHERRY HILL, NJ--(Marketwired - August 20, 2013) -  Go4theGoal is preparing for its 3rd Annual National Dress 4 Pediatric Cancer Day® on Friday, September 27th, 2013 to commemorate Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. Schools and businesses across the country have already registered to participate in order to show their commitment to raise awareness and support for children in their communities with cancer.

Go4theGoal is hoping to make the entire country go gold this September 27th to honor children fighting cancer. "Cancer is the number one killer of our children by disease, and yet few people are aware that September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month or that a gold ribbon symbolizes Pediatric Cancer awareness. On September 27th, our goal is to make the entire country conscious of these facts!" said Beth Stefanacci, Founding Director of Go4theGoal.

Help Go4theGoal by having schools, organizations, and businesses in your community register to participate on September 27th by going to and have a jeans day, dress down day, or Go Gold Day to join the fight against pediatric cancer. Funds stay in the community they are raised to support local children with cancer or the nearest pediatric cancer treatment facility.


Go4theGoal Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit charitable organization founded in 2006 by Dr. Richard and Beth Stefanacci, soon after their oldest child was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. 2012 was a very exciting year at Go4theGoal Foundation, whose two national campaigns, National Dress 4 Pediatric Cancer Day® and Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer®, gave hundreds of schools, businesses and sports teams an opportunity to raise awareness and much needed support for patients in their communities and earned Go4theGoal the honor of "Top Rated Non-Profit of 2012" by Great Nonprofits. Go4theGoal provides children undergoing cancer treatment and their families with financial assistance, runs fun hospital-based programs, grants special wishes and supplies state-of-the-art electronic products to children and pediatric oncology units in over 60 hospitals across the country. Since 2007, G4G has funded nearly $1,000,000.00 in innovative pediatric cancer research.
