Go!Foton Expands Offering With RFoG GigaNode Transceiver for FTTP Deployments

Go!Foton's Merger With Zenko Technologies Provides Key Components to Enable MSOs to Migrate to Fiber-Based Services Delivery

SOMERSET, NJ--(Marketwire - October 12, 2010) -  Go!Foton, the formidable provider of high-performance optical materials, components, and modules, announces the GigaNode RFoG (ZVRF1G5-X) transceiver that supports wideband optical video from 55 MHz - 1.6 GHz. These transceivers support GPON, GEPON, Turbo EPON and XG-PON at rates up to 10G.

The use of the GigaNode Transceiver in conjunction with other components from Go!Foton (including the Video Transmitter (ZVRF1G5-X), Return Path Receiver (ZVRFRP-1G), NG-PON CWDM module, 1:64 Splitter, and XGPON OLT and ONU transceivers) will be utilized in a demonstration at our booth at SCTE Cable-Tec. 

SCTE Cable-Tec will be held in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans October 20-22, 2010.
