Gold Canyon Announces North Bradley Area Results and Plans for Additional Deliniation Drilling at the Cordero Gallium Project

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 14, 2007) - Gold Canyon Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GCU)(PINK SHEETS:GDCRF) ("Gold Canyon" or "the Company") is pleased to announce drill results from the last drill holes from Stage I delineation drilling at the Company's Cordero Gallium Project located in Humboldt County, Nevada, USA. Cordero is recognized as the largest known primary gallium occurrence in North America.

Drill results received for 15 reverse circulation drill holes in the North Bradley area indicate a broad low grade halo of gallium mineralization (greater than 30 g/t (grams per tonne) Ga, less than 80 g/t Ga) similar to those surrounding the high grade intercepts at the C-15 zone and the Corderito/SW Extension areas (Please refer to map: NORTH BRADLEY PITS AREA accompanying this News Release on our website: www.goldcanyon.ca). Gallium intercepts from the 15 drill holes from the North Bradley area are summarized in Table 1.

Drill holes were designed to test for mineralization indicated by C-21 (intercepts of 95 ft with an average grade of 109 g/t Ga, including 35 ft averaging 196 g/t Ga), C-54 (intercepts of 15 ft averaging 103 g/t Ga and 5 ft averaging 130 g/t Ga) and C-56 (intercepts of 5 ft averaging 124 g/t Ga, 5 ft averaging 101 g/t Ga and 25 ft averaging 81 g/t Ga). The North Bradley area is the most northwesterly occurrence of gallium along the 5,400 foot strike length of known mineralization situated approximately 1,000 feet NW of the C-15 zone and 2,500 feet NW of the Corderito area (See NORTH BRADLEY PITS AREA map).

Future plans at Cordero include a Stage II delineation drilling program to define and expand mineralization in the C-15 zone and the Corderito/SW Extension areas (Please refer to map: STAGE 2 DRILL TARGET AREAS accompanying this News Release on our website). Stage II drilling will also address the N. Ruja area defined by drill holes C-22 (20 ft averaging 122 g/t Ga), C-50 (30 ft averaging 100 g/t Ga) and C-68 (25 ft averaging 101 g/t Ga) completed in the 2001/2002 exploration drill campaigns.

This program is being conducted under the supervision of consulting geologist Samuel Nunnemaker. Mr. Nunnemaker is a Registered Geologist and Qualified Person under the NI 43-101. All samples were analyzed through Inspectorate Laboratories of Reno, Nevada.
