Gold Hawk Discloses Additional Technical Information on the Tamboraque Property

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 1, 2005) - Further to Gold Hawk's press release (TSX VENTURE:CGK) dated October 31, 2005, Gold Hawk wishes to disclose additional technical information regarding the Tamboraque property.

Since 1995 (previously reported as 2000), reserve and resource estimates for the Tamboraque property have been calculated by three independent mining engineering consulting firms and are summarized as follows:

1. CM Anglo Peruana SA, November 2003: Proven and probable reserves
of 652,818 tonnes averaging 0.209 oz/t gold, 6.46 oz/t silver,
3.85% zinc, 3.18% lead and 0.44% copper. Inferred resources
totaling 3,911,218 tonnes averaging 0.17 oz/t gold, 8.40 oz/t
silver, 3.12% zinc, 2.56% lead and 0.35% copper.
2. Buenaventura Ingeniero SA, December 2000: Proven and probable
reserves of 762,670 tonnes averaging 0.205 oz/t gold, 5.74 oz/t
silver, 3.08% zinc, 2.10% lead and 0.31% copper. Inferred
resources totaling 1,740,000 tonnes at greater than US$50 per
tonne or the equivalent cut-off NSR value per tonne based on
November 2000 metal prices.
3. Kilborn Peru SA, 1995: Proven and probable reserves of
1,200,480 tonnes averaging 0.14 oz/t gold, 3.4 oz/t silver,
1.77% zinc and 1.86% lead. This was a diluted mineable reserve

Each of the foregoing estimates of reserves and resources was made in accordance with applicable standards in effect at the time, but none of such estimates is compliant with National Instrument 43-101 and Gold Hawk has not done the work necessary to verify the classification of the reserves and resources. Following the execution of a definitive agreement in respect of the acquisition of the Tamboraque property, Gold Hawk intends to disclose information regarding such property in compliance with the requirements of National Instrument 43-101. Gold Hawk has not verified the foregoing reserve and resource estimates and is not treating them as a National Instrument 43-101 defined reserve and resource verified by a "qualified person". The foregoing estimates of reserves and resources, although compiled by what management considers to be competent mining engineering consulting firms, should not be relied upon at this time.

Mr. Alain Vachon, P. Eng. Geologist, who is a "qualified person" within the meaning of National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed the technical content of this news release and Gold Hawk's October 31, 2005 news release.
