Gold Hawk Recognizes Filing of Dissident Circular; Postpones Meeting to August 17, 2010

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 21, 2010) - Gold Hawk Resources Inc. ("Gold Hawk" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:GHK) announces that a dissident shareholder information circular has been filed. Accordingly, the Board of Directors has postponed Gold Hawk's Special and Annual General Meeting in order to allow time to fully consider the dissident circular and re-issue a Management Information Circular.

Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders

Gold Hawk will hold its Annual and Special General Meeting on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) at the offices of its solicitors, Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP, 15th Floor Grosvenor Building, 1040 West Georgia Street Vancouver, B.C. Shareholders of record as at the close of business on June 21, 2010 are entitled to vote at the meeting. Voting instructions will be sent to shareholders with the Notice of Meeting, Management Information Circular and Proxy.
