Golden Spirit Receives Governmental Interest in Its Gasification Technology

MONTREAL--(Marketwire - June 16, 2008) - Golden Spirit Enterprises Ltd. (OTCBB: GSPT) reports that a major Canadian city has requested a formal proposal from the Company for the implementation of its CTC Greencycle gasification plant.

Canadian municipalities are implementing customized programs for minimization, reuse, recovery and recycling of waste. Innovative and environmentally sound Canadian solutions to collect, treat and dispose of solid waste are being employed internationally.

Between 1993 and 2003, the only form of energy R&D on which spending actually increased was R&D in alternative sources of energy.
