Golden State Warriors Takes Home the Gold From Gartner & 1to1 Media

NBA Team Leverages Eloqua to Win Prestigious Social Engagement Award

Gartner and 1to1 Media recognized the Golden State Warriors for its inventive "2010 Warriors Draft Challenge," which was designed to drive fan engagement around the unveiling of the team's new logo. Using Eloqua hypersites, landing pages and data collection capabilities, the team was able to run a highly personalized contest. Over a period of nine days, the Warriors revealed a challenge on a different social media platform, sparking fan engagement across the team's various hubs and creating excitement around the new logo in the run-up to its biggest sales event.

  • Increased their total Facebook "Likes" by 443% over the past year;
  • And increased their total Twitter followers by 597% over the past year.
