Golden Telecom Launches Commercial Operation of the WiFi Network in Domodedovo International Airport

MOSCOW -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 15, 2007 -- Golden Telecom, Inc. ("Golden Telecom" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: GLDN), a leading facilities-based provider of integrated telecommunications and Internet services in major population centers throughout Russia and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States ("CIS"), announces today the commercial launch of its Golden WiFi network ("Golden WiFi") in Domodedovo International Airport.

The Golden WiFi network consists of 60 access nodes and covers all customer areas inside the building. It will give Internet access to all visitors of the airport, the largest international airport in Eastern Europe.

Today, Golden Telecom also announces the opening of the "Golden WiFi Café" in Domodedovo airport. The Café is equipped with 12 comfortable workplaces where customers may use Golden WiFi, using personal WiFi enabled devices in the Café is also possible.

Customers who are not subscribed to Golden WiFi Network services will be able to use the SOMETIMES rate plan -- 100 RUR (including VAT) per hour for speed up to 54Mbps. The subscriber pays only for the access time, regardless of traffic volume. Payment cards can be found in Golden WiFi Café and in other airport sales points.
