Goldwater's Foods of Arizona Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary of Success in the Gourmet Salsa and Specialty Food Industry

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwire - September 14, 2010) -  Goldwater's Foods of Arizona announces the company's 20th Anniversary this October selling high quality, natural food products, specializing in gourmet salsa, dips, barbeque sauce, and the famous Senator's Chili Mix originated by the late Senator Barry Goldwater.

"Our family is very proud to offer our line of specialty food products for twenty years. It has been a family tradition that we are committed to continuing and we are very thankful to all of our merchants and customers," said Carolyn Goldwater, Founder of Goldwater's Foods and granddaughter of the late Senator Barry Goldwater.

Goldwater's Foods of Arizona is taking this opportunity on this benchmark anniversary to revise its marketing strategies. The company hired John J. Miller a 22-year marketing veteran to lead and expand their client and merchant base. In addition, a newly designed website will allow a broader base of national consumers to order Goldwater's products directly on-line. It will include a mercantile store, recipes, cooking videos, gift packs, specials and charitable contributions.

Joanne, her daughter Carolyn, and her sister Peggy Goldwater Clay began the company 20 years ago and originated "Fruit Salsa" with the release of their ground-breaking Paradise Pineapple Salsa back in 1990. This award-winning salsa inspired the four fruit salsas in their line. They also offer four traditional salsas, including the Sedona Red Salsa, which was deemed excellent by The New York Times. The Cochise Corn and Black Bean Salsa won the Scovie Award in 1998 and 1999. All products are natural and low-fat or fat-free.
