Golf Classic Raises Funds for Community Living

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 15, 2005) - the annual Global Charity Golf Classic will take place at the prestigious Wooden Sticks golf course in Uxbridge, in support of Community Living Toronto.

Funds raised from today's event will be directed toward Community Living Toronto's ConnectABILITY project. ConnectABILITY is an accessible, virtual community that provides a communication, learning and support environment for people with an intellectual disability, their families, and others involved in their lives. It allows access to information technology by people who wouldn't otherwise be able to access the internet or use computer technology, increasing not only their sense of independence, but of inclusion -opening up a whole world otherwise not accessible to them.
