Golfers Start to Turn on Each Other on X-Treme Golf TV

Ken becomes X-Treme Golf’s Second Casualty; Tempers Flare in Episode #3 Airing Nationally this Weekend on CanWest CH TV and MEN TV

Attention: Arts/Entertainment Editor, Lifestyle Editor, Sports Editor, Tech/Telecomm Editor, Travel/Tourism Editor DUNDAS, ONTARIO, MEDIA ADVISORY--(CCNMatthews - March 15, 2007) - X-Treme Golf TV Productions Inc. (www.xgolftv.com), the producers of X-Treme Golf broadcast, multi-media and interactive digital properties, today announced that Ken became X-Treme Golf's second casualty. Six players remain in this grueling six-episode elimination golf tournament television series featured on CanWest CH TV nationally prior to weekend coverage of the PGA Tour and on CanWest MEN TV every Saturday.

The second of six one-hour X-Treme Golf episodes - appropriately named 'Blown Away' - lived up to its name. A severe storm unleashed horrific winds and sub-zero temperatures at the ever-challenging Willow Valley Golf Course in Mount Hope, Ontario brutalizing players during their six hour, 9 hole round. It was painful to watch players battle the extreme weather and for Ken it was a devastating moment when he became the second player eliminated on X-Treme Golf. Andy won his second skills challenge in a row and was rewarded with another five-star night out - Presidential Suite at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Hamilton and haute cuisine at Vineland Estates Winery. The remaining players suffered through the night aboard the WWII Haida Destroyer on very uncomfortable hammocks; except for Kim who was taken back to land after she became violently ill from motion sickness. Kim is going into X-Treme Golf Episode #3 knowing that the other players will have the opportunity to impose a stroke penalty on her for not staying on the HAIDA.

"X-Treme Golf Episode #2 was physically, emotionally and mentally tough, especially on Kim who was separated from the group when she became ill from motion sickness on the Haida. Kim is heading into the next show titled 'Get On My Nerves' with an immense burden of guilt," says Alan Aylward, Executive Producer of X-Treme Golf. "With some players having little to no sleep at all over the last three days, there are some delirious laughs and giggles in this week's X-Treme Golf TV show. However, it is becoming increasingly evident that this unpredictable tour is starting to poke players where it hurts most for a golfer - mentally. With the added pressures of tough overnights and difficulties on the links, players are now getting serious and it shows. X-Treme Golf is proving to be every golfers' worst nightmare."

X-Treme Golf Episode #3 airs this weekend on CanWest CH TV and MEN TV. All but one of the X-Treme Golf players are going into their third day without having a bed to sleep in or a shower to freshen up with. Exhaustion is setting in and players begin turning on each other in this week's show. Dianne irritates her cohorts during the round and makes a decision that has a profound impact on one of the other players and subsequently forces Producers to change the format. X-Treme Golf Episode #3 delivers some new twists that shocks players and will surprise viewers.

X-Treme Golf was shot on six world-class golf courses at several luxurious and adventurous accommodations during unpredictable October weather in southwestern Ontario. During the six episode series one player is eliminated on each show, another rewarded and the rest taken to a very nasty overnight experience. Many players face agonizing evenings without running water or showers, no heat, unpalatable meals and inhospitable sleeping conditions while others enjoy opulent, five star evenings in luxurious accommodations. Each vying for the ultimate prize - to be the first ever X-Treme Golf tournament champion.

The six, one-hour episodes of X-Treme Golf air nationally on CanWest CH TV stations leading into PGA Tour coverage on the weekend through to the season finale prior to the 2007 Masters Tournament coverage April 7, 2007 - and three times each weekend on CanWest MEN TV through to April 7, 2007 - please check local listings for show times in your area or on our web site at www.xgolftv.com. Additionally, the X-Treme Golf series features a TV, online web and mobile interactive trivia challenge where audience members who follow each show in the series can enter into weekly X-Treme Golf contests for a chance to win prizes from our sponsors. A grand prize for an X-Treme Golf Tour for a foursome, including golf course fees and accommodations, will be awarded to one lucky viewer at the end of the series.
