At Kitwe, 73 RAC holes have been drilled on a 100m by 200m grid at the first three of the fifteen dumps, and 990 samples have been tested for copper and cobalt using multi-acid digestion by the Alfred H. Knight laboratory in Zambia.

Goliath is in continuing discussions with various parties in relation to metallurgical testwork and possible process routes.
