Good Earth is seeing "red" this Spring

Good Earth Coffeehouse and Bakery launches two new Red Tea Espresso beverages: Red Vanilla Latte and Red Vanilla Frappe

Attention: City Editor, Food/Beverage Editor, Health/Medical Editor, Lifestyle Editor CALGARY, ALBERTA, MEDIA ADVISORY--(Marketwire - March 31, 2009) - Good Earth Coffeehouse and Bakery, a Calgary based coffeehouse chain, is launching red espresso®, the world's first tea espresso, in all of its cafes starting on April 1st. The "espresso" is made from 100% premium Rooibos (pronounced 'Roy-bos) tea that has been ground, like coffee, to a patented espresso grind for use in espresso machines. Rooibos only grows in South Africa and the Rooibos Good Earth is using is premium grade tea sourced from a single family-run farm in the Cedarberg Mountains near Cape Town. It is different from the steeped tea bag versions that are currently out in the market and offers many benefits:

* It is naturally caffeine free and can be enjoyed by those avoiding or watching their caffeine intake.

* A shot of red espresso® has five times more antioxidants than a cup of green tea and is known to be a potent immune booster.

* It is significantly stronger than Rooibos tea from a tea bag; it is darker in colour and richer in taste, and contains about 10 times more antioxidants.

* It is sweet with a slightly earthy flavor and is even coated with crema like a coffee based espresso.
