Good Earth Serves Up One of the World's Rarest 100% Organic Coffee

Attention: Assignment Editor, City Editor, Food/Beverage Editor, Lifestyle Editor CALGARY, ALBERTA, MEDIA ADVISORY--(Marketwire - April 15, 2008) - Good Earth Coffeehouse and Bakery, a Calgary based chain is pleased to announce that customers can now get a taste of one of the world's rarest coffees.

Beginning April 11, a very small and limited quantity of 100% Organic Telmo Cahuana Bolivian Cup of Excellence® award winning coffee is available for sale in ½ lb. bags of whole beans and by the single cup brewed on order with a French Press. The organic coffee is available at all Good Earth cafes. The organic process involves wet milling, followed by de-pulping and fermenting the coffee for 15 hours and washing with clean water from mountain springs. The coffee is then sun-dried on drying patios and tables. Environmental Care Production is done without the use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers.

The farm is located in the Pilon Lajas Ecological Reserve. The farmer Telmo Cahuana explains that coffee is a very noble product for the land; it is a friend of the environment which is why he and his colleagues respect Mother Earth and have dedicated themselves to coffee production and participating in international competitions.

The Cup of Excellence® is the most esteemed award given out for top coffees around the world. These awards come from a strict competition that selects the very best coffee produced in that country for that particular year. Coffees of this exemplary quality are very rare and limited in availability. These coffees are perfectly ripe, carefully picked with well developed body, pleasant aroma and a lively sweetness that only extremely high quality specialty coffees contain.
