More Than 85 Hotels Worldwide Offer Packages With a Donation Component

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 20, 2011) - Summer has officially arrived, and for those planning travel with either family or pets, The Good Night Foundation and Preferred Hotel Group™ make it easy to practice travel philanthropy and give back to the global community while on vacation. Three exclusively crafted offers -- City Kids, Family Fun, and Pets Welcome -- include nightly donations to international charitable organizations supporting vulnerable children and wildlife. More than 85 Preferred Hotel Group properties in 20 countries are pleased to participate.

Families who book the City Kids and Family Fun offers will enjoy daily breakfast for two, a hotel/resort credit, and Family Fun Packs, including on-site activities, tickets to local attractions, shopping discounts and much more. The nightly package rate includes a donation of $1* to $3* to Global Angels, a foundation championing the causes of children, young people and impoverished communities around the world.

Furry friends and their owners will delight in booking the Pets Welcome offer. This pet-tacular package includes daily breakfast for two, double airline miles or a spending credit, and a Paws Pack filled with goodies for their four-legged travel companion. A nightly donation of $1* to $3* benefits the Born Free Foundation, a wildlife charity working to protect threatened wild species and stop wild animal suffering worldwide.

All three offers are available through Dec. 31, 2011, and guests may view participating properties and book packages here.

"It is a win-win for both the guests and the participating hotels and resorts. "And, the hotels and resorts have an opportunity to increase their social responsibility and raise awareness among their guests. We invite hotels to partner with The Good Night Foundation and make an impact on the global community."
