GoodLife Report (www.goodlifereport.com), a web magazine covering the worlds of travel, dining, nightlife, technology and other lifestyle topics, has announced its first annual picks for the top eco-friendly products, places and establishments within the luxury niche.

GLR staff researched hundreds of candidates in different lifestyle categories, equally weighing their green and luxury components. Candidates ranged from hybrid-electric and clean-diesel cars to LEED-certified hotels and restaurants to eco-friendly golf courses.

"Our goal with the GreenLux Awards is to report on the most high-end developments that have come out of the green movement," says Whit Cook, publisher of GoodLife Report. "Hybrid-electric cars and carbon-neutral homes get plenty of press, but you hear less about the burgeoning fine dining locavore movement or the number of new five-star resorts that have gone green," says Cook.

Overseeing the editorial content is Durrani, a former senior editor at Cigar Aficionado with more than 18 years of magazine editorial experience.
