GoodLife Report Announces Second Annual GreenLux Awards

ABC Kitchen, Nines Hotel and Lincoln MKZ Among the Greenest Luxury Products and Services

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Dec 1, 2011) - GoodLife Report (, a web magazine covering the worlds of travel, dining, health, technology and other lifestyle topics, has announced its annual picks for the top eco-friendly products, places and establishments within the luxury niche.

GLR editors -- a consortium of contributing editors who have written for the likes of Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Wine Spectator, Cigar Aficionado, Huffington Post, Tasting Table and more -- researched hundreds of green luxury products in different lifestyle categories, carefully weighing various components of the contenders to come up with this year's honorees.

"The goal of the GreenLux Awards is to remind consumers that there are very appealing choices out there that also happen to be quite green," said Whit Cook, publisher of GoodLife Report. "What's not to like about a Michelin-starred restaurant that also happens to be part of the green dining movement in New York City?"

Cook founded GoodLife Report in December 2009 after spending several years running the online marketing department at M. Shanken Communications, publisher of Wine Spectator and Cigar Aficionado magazines. GoodLife Report's mantra, "Luxury With a Purpose," speaks to the vast amount of editorial coverage they dedicate to green initiatives, charitable organizations, healthy living and other non self-indulgent themes.

The 2011 GreenLux Awards will introduce brand new categories such as "Greenest Gourmet Food Product" and "Greenest American Brewery." GLR hopes to draw attention to what is fresh and relevant in the eco-friendly market, revolving awards each year to reflect such changes.
