Goodman & Company Selects New U.S. Growth Fund;
Retains New Global Growth Manager for MultiPartners
Portfolios

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 15, 2005) -

Oversight Committee selects Dynamic Power American Growth Fund, managed
by Noah Blackstein, and retains BPI Global Equity Fund under new
portfolio manager Bill Sterling, following due diligence by Goodman
Institutional

Goodman & Company, Investment Counsel Ltd. announces it has selected
Dynamic Power American Growth Fund for the U.S. growth component of the
MultiPartners Portfolios, replacing AGF American Growth Class on or
about March 25, 2005. It will also retain the original MultiPartners
global growth selection, BPI Global Equity Fund, which recently acquired
a new portfolio management team led by Bill Sterling of Trilogy Global
Advisors.

Goodman & Company's Oversight Committee, formed to oversee third-party
portfolio managers and ensure sound governance of portfolio products
with multiple managers, made the decisions after extensive due diligence
by Goodman Institutional. "Our Oversight Committee has the broad
expertise to look at all sides of the manager monitoring, selection and
governance process," said David Goodman, CFA, President and CEO of
Goodman & Company.

"As the overall portfolio manager for the MultiPartners Portfolios,
Goodman & Company is very confident in the funds now in place. We have
maintained the MultiPartners' broad exposure to proven third-party
managers with complementary styles and added a Dynamic manager, Noah
Blackstein, with a clearly defined growth style and a superior track
record."

Despite a difficult environment for growth stocks, Dynamic Power
American Growth Fund had first quartile returns over the three years
ended January 31, 2005. Dynamic Power American Growth Fund will be
included in the MultiPartners Balanced RSP, Balanced Growth RSP, High
Growth RSP and Global Balanced Portfolios. These Portfolios, which
represent over 80% of MultiPartners assets, performed very well over the
last year, either tracking or exceeding returns for their benchmarks.

Trilogy Global Advisors, led by Chief Investment Officer Bill Sterling,
portfolio manager of CI Global Fund among other funds, recently assumed
management of BPI Global Equity Fund, which has the global growth
allocation in the MultiPartners Balanced Growth and High Growth
Portfolios. CI Global Equity Fund had a first quartile ranking for the
three years ended January 31, 2005.

With $320 million in assets under management, MultiPartners Portfolios
combine the institutional portfolio managers of the Cartier Funds with
managers from leading retail companies: AIM Trimark, AGF, CI Funds,
Dynamic, Fidelity Investments, Franklin Templeton Investments and
Mackenzie Financial. MultiPartners Portfolios and Cartier Funds are
among the many brands, including Dynamic, Viscount, Marquis and Radiant,
offered by Goodman & Company, Investment Counsel Ltd., a leading
Canadian investment firm tracing its portfolio management roots back
over 45 years, with more than $15 billion in assets under management.
