Goodman Marketing Partners Launches Campaign for New Client -- Zero Breast Cancer

SAN RAFAEL, CA--(Marketwire - October 12, 2010) -  Goodman Marketing Partners (GMP), a full service direct marketing company in San Rafael, Calif., announced today that it is launching an online and offline fundraising campaign for its newest client, Zero Breast Cancer. The San Rafael-based nonprofit is dedicated to finding causes of breast cancer through community participation in the research process. GMP created direct mail, email and landing pages in support of the organization's appeal for financial support in October, which is traditionally celebrated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

"We profiled past donors and identified most likely prospects, then developed the campaign to appeal to both groups," says Carolyn Goodman, GMP president and creative director.

By simplifying complex research results and educating the community, Zero Breast Cancer helps women and mothers make informed, healthy choices that can reduce their chances of developing breast cancer. After collaborating with researchers in a unique national and regional study of puberty in girls, Zero Breast Cancer has discovered new links between early puberty and the increased risk of breast cancer. The nonprofit was founded in 1995 as Marin Breast Cancer Watch and has become an established national leader in conducting breast cancer research and searching for the causes of the disease.
