GotVoice Voice Messaging Services Now Available Through Yahoo! Desktop Widgets

Record and Publish Voice, Send Text Messages and View Voice Mailbox All From the Convenience of Your Desktop

KIRKLAND, WA--(Marketwire - July 9, 2007) - GotVoice, Inc., the voice messaging company, today announced the launch of the GotVoice Widget, available through Yahoo! Desktop Widgets. The download is a free application available to anyone using the Yahoo! Widget, bringing the convenience and simplicity of GotVoice services to the desktop -- even for users not signed up as subscribers. The GotVoice Widget provides the first-ever widget that enables users to record voice using a mobile phone and publish it to the Web. Other features enable text messaging and desktop access to GotVoice Visual Voicemail.

Record and publish

Using the GotVoice Widget, users can for the first time record messages and voice clips using their mobile phone, and publish their voice recording to the Web. This feature allows users to post their voice to blogs, MySpace profiles and other personal Web sites, bringing their personality to life online.

Outbound SMS

The GotVoice Widget enables text messaging directly from the desktop -- users can send a text to a phone with just a click of the mouse. Widget users who also subscribe to the GotVoice service can connect to their contacts from the desktop, adding them to the SMS 'To' line for even faster text messaging.

GotVoice Visual Voicemail

For avid GotVoice users, the Widget brings GotVoice Visual Voicemail right to their fingertips. Once the widget is downloaded and connected to the user's GotVoice account, the service provides a visual inbox of voice messages from mobile, home and work phones. Users can view, organize, delete and listen to messages right from their computer, and retrieve new messages on demand.

"GotVoice was created to bring the ease and convenience of email to voicemail, with features designed to deliver more options for consumers to communicate and socialize using voice," said Curt Blake, CEO of GotVoice, Inc. "After releasing GotVoice Visual Voicemail and Mobile Compose, we realized many users would also benefit from a desktop interface with the service, increasing accessibility and maximizing their time. With the new widget, users can enjoy their favorite GotVoice features without logging into an account, picking up their handset, or paying for anything."
