BC Coroners Service identifies motor vehicle incident victim

KELOWNA - The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who died after a motor vehicle incident near Clearwater on Aug. 30, 2014.

She is Lenore Grace Plett, aged 50, of Dryden, Ontario.

Ms. Plett was the front seat passenger in a compact SUV which was travelling southbound on Highway 5 about 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 30, 2014, when it went out control, left the road, went down an embankment and hit a tree. Ms. Plett was deceased at the scene of the collision.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

The family of Ms. Plett has been notified of her death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
