Government Executive Media Group Launches Leading Brands in Government

Marketing Intelligence Program to Deliver Insights on Purchasers' Decision-Making Priorities and Perceptions of Contractor Brands

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - November 06, 2014) - Atlantic Media's public sector division, Government Executive Media Group (GEMG), today introduced Leading Brands in Government, a major initiative designed to deliver insights to marketers on the decision-making priorities of government purchase influencers as well as their perceptions of contractor brands. 

The initiative, supported by a large-scale annual research study, will address the challenges marketers to government face, including:

  • Understanding which attributes purchase influencers care about most when they select a vendor
  • Evaluating a company's brand against the most important attributes
  • Benchmarking against competitors in specific sectors
  • Measuring performance over time
  • Staying current on shifting trends and insights

GEMG's dedicated research division, Government Business Council (GBC), will conduct the study by leveraging GEMG's subscriber database of over 300,000 federal civilian and defense executives.

Government Executive Media Group will preview the Leading Brands program at a breakfast briefing on December 10th at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner, VA. The agenda will feature an overview of the methodology and an exclusive look at early results from the initial component of the three phased study, including data on which attributes are most important to government buyers when selecting contractors.
