Government-Focused Solution Provider Offers High-Availability Appliances Using Stratus Avance Software

MAYNARD, MA--(Marketwire - May 9, 2011) - NCS Technologies, Inc., a system builder and solutions provider to federal, state and local governments, and Stratus Technologies, Inc., announced today that NCS has joined the Stratus4Uptime channel program to deliver uptime assurance with Stratus Avance® high-availability software on its servers.

Founded in 1996, NCS Technologies manufactures and customizes its own branded desktops, notebooks, servers, storage systems, Internet appliances, thin clients and mobile devices. Clients of the Gainesville, Virginia-based firm include numerous government agencies, the U.S. Department of Defense, NASA, NIST, and research organizations, as well as commercial customers with specialized requirements.
