Government of Canada Announces Support for Canada Day Events in Elmira

ELMIRA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 22, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage

On behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, Harold Albrecht, Member of Parliament for Kitchener-Conestoga today announced $1,500 in funding for the Township of Woolwich to celebrate Canada Day.

This funding, provided through the Celebrate Canada program, will enable the organization to offer Canada Day activities in Elmira on July 1, 2015.

  • The Department of Canadian Heritage provides funding for activities organized on specific days during the Celebrate Canada period from June 21 to July 1.
