Web Inc. has been awarded financial assistance from the Government of Canada to acquire state-of-the-art technology.

"Our government is committed to helping Quebec enterprises grow, so that they can create more jobs. Investments such as Imprimerie F.L. Web Inc.'s help business productivity here in Quebec and support the economic competitiveness of the country," said M.P. Gourde.

The establishment of Imprimerie F.L. Web Inc. will help complete the services offered by Imprimerie F.L Chicoine Inc., founded in 1986 by the Chicoine family, which owns both firms. Supporting the growth strategy established by the shareholders, the activities of this new division will focus more on Web printing. Canada Economic Development's contribution is specifically earmarked for the acquisition of a fully computerized web rotary press, unique in Quebec. This project will help raise the technological level of the group's firms, which should give it a competitive edge.
