QUÉBEC, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Feb. 7, 2014) - Canada Economic Development
The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, today announced that the firm Aero-Photo (1961) Inc. has been granted financial assistance for the implementation of a strategy to commercialize its geomatic services.
This support has been awarded in the form of a $200,000 repayable financial contribution through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program.
- This investment will enable Aero-Photo (1961) to acquire high-technology photographic equipment and market its services to prospective clients.
- A leader in the geomatics industry in North America, the enterprise specializes both in aerial photography and in the acquisition and transmission of geospatial data.
- In addition to fostering the growth of the enterprise, this project, once completed, is expected to lead to the transformation of 10 seasonal jobs into five full-time positions and to the hiring of eight employees.
