Quotes

"By renewing its support for the promotion of the Raid International Gaspésie on outside markets, our government is contributing to the economic development of Gaspésie, the growth of the regional tourism industry and job creation."

Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec

"In the Raid's first year, the media outside Quebec published some 100 articles on the event and we produced a documentary that was aired in more than 40 countries, providing an important showcase for the Gaspésie region as an adventure tourism destination. DEC's funding will be instrumental in establishing a strategy that will give the Raid maximum international exposure in 2015 and 2016."
