The Government of Canada is providing $19,100 in funding to 7 organizations in the Kenora area through the Celebrate Canada program. A list of the organizations receiving support and a breakdown of the funding is available in the backgrounder.
The Honourable Greg Rickford, Minister of Natural Resources, Minister for the Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario and Member of Parliament (Kenora), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
