Government of Canada Supports Growth of Isothermic Doors and Windows Inc.


THETFORD MINES, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Sept. 9, 2014) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions

Acting on behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, the Honourable Christian Paradis, Member of Parliament for Mégantic-L'Érable and Minister of International Development and La Francophonie, today announced that the firm Isothermic Doors and Windows Inc. has received financial support for productivity enhancement.

The assistance has been awarded in the form of a $1,322,500 repayable financial contribution through the Canadian Initiative for the Economic Diversification of Communities Reliant on Chrysotile.

Quick facts

  • Isothermic Doors and Windows will use the funding to acquire production equipment and renew its ERP manufacturing information management systems.

  • The firm, which has more than 170 employees, will be able to consolidate its current market share through its network of 50 distributors.

  • The Canadian Initiative for the Economic Diversification of Communities Reliant on Chrysotile supports projects related to the economic diversification of the Des Appalaches and Des Sources RCMs that have the potential to create jobs in the short and long term.
