Government of Canada Supports Growth of Thermoform of America Inc.

NICOLET, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Jan. 26, 2012) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that Thermoform of America Inc. was granted financial assistance to purchase high-technology equipment, namely a 3-D laminating line and flat lamination line, for its new chain of production officially inaugurated today.

"The Government of Canada is once again showing proof of its determination to support enterprises that, like Thermoform, are making the necessary investments to improve their competitiveness and, in so doing, are helping to create jobs," says Minister Lebel.

Founded in 1994, Thermoform specializes in the manufacture of thermoplastified components for cabinetry. The company's fully-automated manufacturing process, the only one of its kind in North America, gives Thermoform a competitive advantage on the North American market.

This $752,400 in repayable funding has been granted through Canada Economic Development's Business and Regional Growth program.
