Government of Canada Supports Merinov

Quebec fisheries and aquaculture innovation centre receives funding from the Government of Canada for the acquisition to leading-edge equipment to help enterprises in the sector improve their productivity and become more competitive


ÎLES-DE-LA-MADELEINE, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - June 16, 2015) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, today announces that Merinov has been granted financial assistance that will allow the organization to pursue and intensify its technology transfer and applied research activities with businesses operating in the fisheries, aquaculture, valorization and marine biotechnology sectors.

This funding is being awarded in the form of a $155,598 non-repayable contribution through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program.
